A question about the gap between the rich and the poor on this planet

Hello. In fact, in my experience, I can only say that I don't know what the goal of government is. I had been trying to figure it out doggedly, but I gave it up long ago, as I realised that I should better take the short free time available to figure out my own or my family's goal instead in the so called goal of leader.

So, what is my goal? My goal is to provide for my kids to live in a healthier, safer and freer society. Just like I'm doing now, many people are in my situation. This seems quite reasonable.

But in fact I want to say that this situation will cause an objective fact that like a huge plague, let or make everybody to just want to own things, sometimes would even consider to throw their conscience to hell, will seriously be more selfish than ever, evil will take advantage slowly again and the gap between rich and poor will follow naturally.

Who cares? Who can stop that?

The Universe gives us what we wish for

Hello Gung, thank you for posing an old dilemma: what to do and who can do it?

Well, I am a free person, in the sense that I can think freely and make my own choices, not in the sense that I'm free from all external restrictive influences, but I reduce these to the minimum as soon and as many times as I can. I am still enslaved to the bank, by having to maintain a mortgage.

So, as a free person, I choose to 'be the change I want to see in the world'. In other words, if I don't like something around me, I'm the first one to change it and give an example to others who may follow my example of their own accord. Not everybody will... in fact very few people do, but by doing what I think is right in my own little world, I know that there is at least one person in the world who doesn't do the wrong thing, or having the wrong attitude, or whatever it may be.

By doing so, I place myself in a realm of being where I resonate with other people like me, which gives me the reassurance that I'm not alone in my quest for the good. It's what happens when they say 'like attracts like' or 'birds of a feather flock together'.

Of course, the rich people do the same and this is how they gave rise to the corporations of the modern world. However, without wishing anybody harm, I believe that everything is cyclical, so the ups and downs of the corporations will manifest to those who can perceive them and it's a very fine skill this - being able to see into matters such as this one.

If I had children of my own, I'd raise them in a 'free internal spirit', in spite of them having to undergo certain stages imposed by the family, the state, the educational system or other various moral, ethnic or religious principles. If a child learns early on how to think and feel freely, that child will be a valuable pillar for their own being, their family and society.

I'd love to carry on this discussion with you and other friends who may feel inclined to participate.
